Frequently Asked Questions
Who can access counselling?
All registered students as well as the faculty and staff of the Mico University are eligible for our services. To sign up for a service, click the link below.
How do I sign up for counselling?
To make your initial counselling appointment you will need to sign the Informed Consent Form provided on this website. Once you have done that you will then sign the Counselling Intake Form. If you are unable to fill out the forms digitally, download both forms from the Counselling page, fill out, sign, and then email the signed forms to Mrs. Peta-gay Douse-Franklin at counsellor@themico.edu.jm. Initial appointments last approximately 60 minutes and follow-up appointments are 45-50 minutes.
First-time clients are not seen without having completed these forms unless it is an emergency situation.
